On the northwest edge of town, adjacent to the junction of Main Street, Lake Mary Road and Minaret Road, the North Village offers hotel and condo accommodations, pedestrian plazas, restaurants, retail shopping and limited outdoor parking, and acts as a primary public-transit hub. In winter, direct access to the ski area's Canyon Lodge is provided by way of the Village Gondola, while in summer it's a jumping-off point for the Lakes Basin Path, the Town Loop, the Uptown Mountain Bike Trail and the Mammoth Mountain Bike Park's fee-based shuttle to Main Lodge.
