New Shady Rest Campground

  • Located right at the entrance to town, the New Shady Rest Campground allows you to enjoy the scenery of the Sierra without being too far from creature comforts. Trails for running, mountain biking, and OHV/motorcycle trail-riding are in close proximity. Picnic tables and restrooms are provided on site, as are campfire rings for toasting those s’mores (firewood is available for purchase). With the Mammoth Lakes Welcome Center practically next door, educational opportunities and activity information is easily accessible. Both tents and RVs are permitted.
