Shady Rest Winter Motorized Trailhead

  • The Parking area in Shady Rest Park serves as a staging point for multiple winter activities. Start your snowmobile adventure here for easy access to the A Trail. The A Trail provides access to over 80 miles of groomed trails and open play areas. These trails are maintained by the USFS and the State of California. Be courteous when parking your trailer as there is limited space for turning around in the parking lot. The Shady Rest Winter nonmotorized trails can be accessed from this trailhead or the Welcome Center trailhead.
