Wildflower Viewing

Wildflower Viewing on the Agnew Meadows Wildflower Loop

Do you have Wildflower Viewing Experiences you'd like to share? Find out How!

  • The Agnew Meadows Wildflower Loop is an easy, flat, interpretive trail, great for families and folks new to the area and a perfect introduction to the diversity of wildflower species in the Mammoth Lakes area. The season generally runs from July to early September, depending on conditions. From Stop #1 on the Reds Meadow Shuttle (Agnew Meadows) walk across the road to the south. The trail winds through mixed conifer forest on the edge of a large, beautiful meadow. There are signs along the way, but bring your wildflower guidebook to mark your finds and fill in the gaps.
