Set above the shores of scenic Lake George, the highest road-accessible lake in the Mammoth Lakes Basin, this small, wooded campground provides one of the finest campground experiences in the American West. At 9,250 feet, the nights can be chilly but the stars are close! During the day, enjoy spectacular views of Crystal Crag, stocked trout fishing, a small marina with boat dock and rentals, and two trailheads to access the high country. Amenities include water, flushable toilets, campfire rings with grills, picnic tables, and bear boxes. All 15 campsites are available on a first-come first-served basis.
