Biking the Town Loop is a great way to explore Mammoth and adjust to altitude. From Mammoth Creek Park West head east through the tunnel and down along Mammoth Creek to the open vistas of the Sherwins and White Mountains. Enjoy the fast descent to the tunnel under Meridian then climb along Highway 203 back to town. Use the path on the north side of Main Street until it ends then cross back over to the frontage road. After Joaquin Street, the path takes you across to Meridian and the climb up to Eagle Lodge. From here the path switchbacks down to Sherwin Street and an easy final cruise back to the park.
