This is a great experience for the cognitively or physically disabled due to its gentle downhill grade, mostly consistent surface and few obstacles. Downtown is wider than standard singletrack and will accommodate most three- or four-wheel adaptive mountain bikes. Begin your ride at the top of the public section of Downtown, across Highway 203 from the Earthquake Fault, and cruise down to trail's end at the North Village. Either arrange for a shuttle back up the road or ride the Uptown trail back to the Earthquake Fault. Note: Uptown is narrower than Downtown and may not accommodate all adaptive equipment.
