Do you have Biking Experiences you'd like to share? Find out How!

  • The Lakes Basin Path downhill from Horseshoe Lake to the Village at Mammoth is a classic, highly scenic and nearly effortless bike path cruise—a perfect introduction to the region for the whole family. Starting at the Village bus stop, load your bikes onto the Lakes Basin Trolley. Unload at the end of the road at Horseshoe Lake and ride the multi-use path through the woods and along the lakes all the way back down the hill to the Village. Be sure to stop along the way to enjoy the broad vistas. Make sure your bike has good, working brakes, stay in control, and respect the 15mph speed limit!
