Walking the Town Loop and the Lodestar Connector ◉

This is a pleasant 1.2-mile walk from Eagle Lodge to a quiet residential neighborhood alongside the Sierra Star Golf Course. The paved Town Loop Path winds eastward and gently downhill to its intersection with the Lodestar Connector. Turn left at the Mammoth Lakes Trail System sign, now heading north, and enjoy a pleasant stroll through the woods between the golf course and the quiet residential neighborhood. Once you get to the end of the Lodestar Connector, walk back the way you came, taking in the great views of the Sherwins Range and the continued tranquility of this in-town experience.
