This is a challenging intermediate experience. Starting from Eagle Lodge, you’ll be able to enjoy a downhill ride on the Town Loop for the first part, but know that it will be a long grind back up at the end of your 4 miles. Turn off the path at Minaret and ride with traffic down to Sierra Park Road where you pick up the multi-use path to Mammoth Creek Park. Here you can rest, get water, and go to the bathroom before cycling back onto Old Mammoth Road. Turn up Meridian for a long, gradual uphill on the road. Get back on the Town Loop just past Joaquin Street and stay on the path all the way back to Eagle Lodge.
